Pesticide or Flouoride?

Here's a conversation I had with Moe after he came back from our dentist.

"Hey Mom, how much longer do I have to wait before the pesticide in my mouth wears off before I can eat?"

"What are you talking about?"

"You know, the pesticide they put in my mouth to prevent cavities."

"Don't you mean fluoride?"

Moe shrugs and says, "Same thing."

Sure they are. One is HARMLESS in the mouth and the other can cause AGONIZING PAIN or worse DEATH. Yup, they are definitely the same thing.

That's a typical son response. "What's the big deal Mom? It's the same thing". Kids are funny that way. I always wonder if I'm getting all the right facts sometimes when I ask my oldest for details. He tends to leave out all the important stuff. Your background for your blog looks terrific!!

septbermom: Chances are your oldest son is leaving out alot of details. i don't think they do it on purpose, it's because it takes too much energy for them to explain! I love my brackground too, check out blogfairy.com for free backgrounds.
